Volunteer Registration

We're now recruiting for Stewards and Helpers at this year's MMitD!

Please fill in the form if you are interested and we'll be in touch.


You commit to a minimum of 20 hours of volunteering 

over the course of the event. This is the full-time option!

In return you receive:

  • a three-day Festival Pass

  • use of the Green Room with unlimited tea and coffee!

  • free admission to one workshop (this can be the Study Day) and one evening concert/ two workshops / two evening concert, as you prefer. All Stewards get free admission to the Sunday night Cabaret & Bal.

  • Free camping or £25/night contribution to accommodation costs (up to a maximum of £75)

  • £30 of food vouchers and 3 Tavern Vouchers (in other words three free drinks)

  • our undying gratitude and appreciation


You commit to 6 hours of volunteering over the course of the event.

In return you receive:

  • use of the Green Room with unlimited tea and coffee!

  • £10 of food vouchers and 1 Tavern Voucher (in other words one free drink)

  • our undying gratitude and appreciation

You might end up doing some or all of the following:

  • Setting up for the Festival (this means being available on Thursday) and Striking (this means being available on Sunday evening and Monday morning). These roles are physically demanding.

  • Stewarding the parking and camping areas (giving directions, keeping the area tidy etc)

  • Festival Desk: retail, giving information

  • Festival Reception

  • Serving in the Tavern (this may involve late nights) or at the Drinks Stall

  • Managing admissions for workshops and concerts

  • Driving - helping with lifts for participants without their own transport. You'd be paid expenses to cover fuel costs.
