Medieval Music in the Dales Festival Box Office

  • You MUST buy a Festival Pass if you want to attend any workshops, daytime concerts or Chamber concerts, and/or if you wish to Camp (in any unit). Festival Passes cost £125 (three days), £90 (two days), £55 (one day).

  • A Festival Pass gives you free admission to all workshops, daytime concerts and chamber concerts on the relevant days, and also permits you to attend the Festival Tavern on all or any of the evenings of the Festival. 

Medieval Music in the Dales 2023 is a celebration of the music and dance of the fifteenth century. Book a Festival Pass here to enjoy three days of concerts, workshops, dance performances and more in and around Bolton Castle.

You can also book here for Study Days, Evening Concerts and 1-2-1 Tuition sessions without buying a Festival Pass.

Please note - the Online Box Office will close at midnight on September 3rd. After that, you will only be able to buy Passes, Concert tickets and 1-2-1 tuition in person at the Festival. It is not possible to buy Camping Passes at the Festival.

 

PLEASE READ THE NOTES BELOW FIRST!!!

  • If you wish to camp, you must buy a Camping Pass per person. This entitles you to camping from 2pm on Thursday 7th September through to 11 am on Monday 11th September (to be clear, even if your Festival Pass is just for the one day). Camping Passes cost £25 per person. Camping Passes are only available to Festival Pass holders.

  • Evening concerts, Study Day places and 1-2-1 tuition are open to everyone (with or without a Festival Pass) but must be booked here in advance. 

  • Under 18s get 50% off on everything except 1-2-1 tuition. If booking for under-18s, please get in touch here with details of the children's ages and you will be sent a discount code to book the children's passes separately. Under 5s are free!

Booking Places on Workshops

After you have bought your Festival Pass you will receive a link to Workshop Reservations.  If you are particularly keen on a particular workshop we recommend that you reserve a place.
